Where is Baxterland?

We are located at the southern end of the Sequoia National Forest in the California Hot Springs and fewer than 20 miles away from the Trail of Giants.

How many people can Baxterland accommodate?

Baxterland has a total of 13 beds of varying size but larger parties are more than welcome if you bring cots, bed rolls, and sleeping bags. Even more are welcome if you have people in your party who would like to camp on the property.

What is the weather like?

The Hot Springs has very hot summers and very cold winters. It does sometimes snow and tire chains could be required at certain times in the winter, though it is rare. Be sure to check the weather report a few days before your stay.

Are small children and pets welcome?

They are more than welcome but please practice caution. Do not leave your children or pets unattended. There are wild animals in the area and they should stay indoors at night.
